Midsummer Nights’ Fair

The Firehouse Art Center will host the 34th Annual Midsummer Nights’ Fair on Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10, 2010, from 6:00 – 11:00 p.m. both nights. The event will be held at Lions Park, at Flood Avenue and Symmes, just north of the Firehouse Art Center.

This arts festival will feature unique, high-quality artist booths.  Artworks of painting, drawing, pottery, jewelry, glass, woodworking and more will be on display for viewing and purchasing.

A large central tent will host demonstrations by FAC faculty members.  In addition, FAC faculty who teach children’s classes will be providing opportunities for kids to create artwork.  The Children’s Art Wall will be available for young painters to express themselves, with the assistance of local artists and instructors.  Free FAC t-shirts will be passed out to the first 75 kids that participate in the Children’s Art Wall project.
