The Sam Noble Museum in Norman and The Oklahoman are making the last weekend of summer a little sweeter with a day of free museum admission. Saturday, Aug 14 is a Free Day, offering free admission from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., courtesy of The Oklahoman.
In addition to exploring the museum’s permanent galleries and Discovery Room, visitors on Aug. 14 will be able to view the special exhibition Chocolate, on view through Sept. 12.Chocolate takes visitors on a journey through history to discover the plant, the products and the culture of chocolate through the lenses of science, history and popular culture. Chocolate and its traveling exhibition was created by The Field Museum, Chicago, and supported, in part, by the National Science Foundation.
