The Cinematic Artists of Norman teamed up with the Norman Public Library to offer two free summer film camps. The first week featured tweens (ages 8-12) and the second week featured teens (ages 13-18). Over 30 students participated in the camp covering pre-production, production, and post-production. Each class wrote, directed, and edited their own one-minute movie. All films were edited by each student, creating very different final products.

A film screening premiere is being held in honor of the finished movies. OU Housing and Food Services and the OU Union Programming Board have partnered with the Norman Arts Council to host the event at MAINSITE Contemporary Art gallery at 7:00pm on Friday, June 29, 2012. Doors open at 6:30pm.

Following the screenings students will presented with camp awards.
