Mandatory Grant Workshop (Remember, proposals from applicants who DO NOT ATTEND one of these workshops will NOT BE ACCEPTED. These workshops will include a thorough review of how to prepare your application. It is strongly advised that you review these documents before attending the workshop. Please be on time for the workshop as a courtesy to others. Late attendees will not be admitted after the workshop is underway. Organization and contact information will be collected.)
Applicants must attend only one of the following workshops:
Monday, November 14, 2011 from 7:00pm – 8:30pm
Monday, November 21, 2011 from 4:00pm – 5:30pm
The location for both dates will be the MAINSITE Contemporary Art: Home of the Norman Arts Council (122 East Main Street, Norman, OK)

Grants Panel Reviews Applications

Recommendations sent to NAC Board of Directors
March 16, 2012
The recommendations of the Grants Panel are presented to the NAC Board of Directors by the Chair of the Grants Panel and the NAC Chair of the Grants committee for approval. The grants are then approved pending final approval by the Norman City Council during the month of June.
Revised Budgets
May 30, 2012
All Grant Recipients must provide the NAC with a revised budget prior to May 30, 2012.
FY12-13 Grant Season
July 1, 2012 – June 30, 2013
The Fiscal Year 2012-2013 grant season begins on July 1, 2012 and runs through June 30, 2013. Grant recipients receive funding by submitting cash request forms for the first 70% of their funding after July 1, 2012 and no more than 90 days prior to the event. The funding for the final 30% is released upon approval of the final evaluation of the grant project. All final evaluations are due within 30 days following the final date of the grant project.
