Norman Open Studios is FREE for both artists and visitors…
The Norman Open Studios program is a way for participating artists in Norman to literally open their studios to the community to explore the places where art is being made.
- All artists in Norman are invited to participate!
- There is no selection process, just complete a submission form!
- All types of studios are welcome, even if you work out of your living room, basement, or garage!
- If your studio is outside the boundaries of the Open Studios Map, you may set up a temporary studio at our Alternative Space (location TBD)!
- Area of the map will be bordered by Tecumseh Road at the North, Lindsey Street at the South, 24th Avenue NE to the East and I-35 to the West.
- All participating artists will receive a Marketing Kit to help promote their studio! Kit will include postcard, maps, posters, and yard signs.
Participating artists will also have one work displayed at MAINSITE Contemporary Art for a weekend exhibit.

April 2, 2012 Final Submission Deadline 5 p.m. (DEADLINE EXTENDED!)
April 23, 2012 Marketing Kit sent to participating artists
April 30, 2012 Drop off work for Open Studios Exhibition at MAINSITE, 122 E. Main St.
May 11, 2012 Open Studios Exhibition opening reception 6:00-9:00pm
May 12, 2012 Open Studios Day 9:00am– 3:00pm
May 12, 2012 Artist’s Party for participating artists 5 p.m. (Public may purchase tickets)
